Welcome to the official Web site of the Vidya International Charitable Trust (VICT).

VICT is a public charitable trust registered in Kerala in the year 2000 to promote higher education for society in general and among economically weaker section in particular. Today the trust has close to 1100 members across the globe.

VICT is unique in its structure & operations. All institutions under the trust are centrally administered by an 11 Member Executive Committee (EC), which is democratically elected from amongst its trustees once every three years. Executive committee meets every month to discuss and take appropriate actions.

A team of six Honorary Directors and eleven Executive Committee members manage the Trust & Institutions effectively. We are honoured to have the whole hearted services of Dr.Gangan Prathap (former Vice Chancellor of CUSAT, former Director of NISCAIR and Honorary Professor APJAKTU), Padmasree Dr.M.C. Dathan (Scientific Advisor to Chief Minister of Kerala, Distinguished Scientist and former Director of ISRO Centres), Dr.Anil B (Retired Principal, College of Engineering, Bartonhill,Thiruvanadapuram), Mr.G.Mohanachandran (Retired Dy.Chief Engineer of Kerala Electricity Board), Mr.Suresh Lal (Former First Vice President of JP Morgan Chase Bank, Tokyo, Japan) and Mr.R.Devarajan (Retired Chief Engineer of Kerala State Electricity Board).

Apart from the Executive Committee, the Central coordination committee (CCC), which is also an elected body, meets once in every quarter to discuss about the administration matters of Institutions and its financials as well as policy matters. Key policy matters are formulated in these CCC meetings which are then ratified by the Board Of Trustees (BOT). BOT is the supreme decision making body of the trust which meets once a year.

The trust currently manages two Engineering Colleges, one in Thrissur and the other in Kilimanoor, offering around 1134 Seats, with 966 seats in undergraduate engineering courses, 60 seats in MCA and 108 seats in M Tech courses spread across 6 Engineering disciplines. As on 30th November we have 3142 students in our two campuses. Current strength of faculty members is 232 and 166 non teaching & management staff. There are 7 part time staff also. Apart from this numbers engaged by outsourcing agencies for ancillary services like house keeping, security, canteen etc comes to 115.

Trust owns total of 58 acres of land at three locations, and have buildings measuring a total area of 7.2 Lakhs Sq.Ft.

Three of the engineering courses offered by VAST namely, Civil Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering are accredited by National Board of Accreditation.

Vidya is also recognized as a research institute under Anna university ( Coimbatore region).

Our educators are committed to holistic development of our students. It is no wonder that our students have bagged first rank for MCA in Calicut University consistently in the last 5 years, and have consistently bagged top honors in Calicut University and KTU in most of the engineering disciplines that we are active

Our students are also high achievers in extra-curricular activities and are toppers in Sports and Cultural competitions in intra and inter university competitions.

We are also proud that many of our pass out students get placement through campus interviews. Our students are placed by 30+ top employers like E&Y, INFOSYS, TCS, WIPRO, Cognizant, L&T Infotech, TVS Sundaram, Tech Mahindra, Sobha Developers etc. amongst others.

Trust also runs an IT institute in Thrissur, providing training and certification in job oriented high end courses of Microsoft, Cisco, Redhat, Oracle etc. Vidya IT Center is the authorized online examination center of Prometric & Pearson Vue. Our IT center is ideally located in the heart of Thrissur.

Having established educational institutions in Central and Southern regions of Kerala, our next focus is an education institution in Northern region of Kerala. Land for the same has been acquired in Kannur and we hope to finalise a suitable project in the near future.

All assets of the trust are created and means for meeting running expenses are met through contributions from our magnanimous trustees and internal resources.

Being a public charitable trust, we are focused on providing assistance to meritorious students from financially backward communities. We are proud that we have been able to support hundreds of students with full or partial scholarships in the last 13 years. Without this scholarship these students would not have had the opportunity to pursue higher education. As of 31st March 2016 , a total of 1285 students benefited by VICT's various scholarships.
